Kathleen Murray exhibited at the Lefevre Gallery from 1932-1938.

The Lefevre Gallery was set up in 1928 in Bruton Street and was one of the foremost commercial galleries in London, dealing in Impressionists, Modern Masters and Contemporary Painters.

Lucien Freud had his first one man show there in 1944

This shows the view North beyond the Spa Well back towards St. Mary's Church, which you can see in the distance. The site of the Spa Well, which was first established in 1716 and rebuilt in 1739-40 is now occupied by the Princess Hall of the Ladies College opened in 1895.

stayed there in 1845, that she commisioned Nash to paint some of the interiors.

A watercolour of the State Drawing Room is in the Royal Collection.
